Ronald L. Snyder, 85, of Howell passed away at home on Saturday, January 20, 2018. He was born and raised in Freehold and settled in Howell in 1971. Ron was the owner of Snyder’s Chem Clean in Farmingdale. He was a lover of the great outdoors and enjoyed camping, taking walks and working with his hands. Ron was a member of the Church of the Master UMC in Howell and served on the Board of Trustees.
Ron was predeceased by his wife, Gladys Snyder in 2013; daughter, Lola Boginski in 2000; and brother, Herbert Snyder. He is survived by six sons, Scott Snyder and his wife, Gloria of Farmingdale, Ronald Snyder and his wife, Debra of Bayville, Billy Snyder of Jackson, Keith Snyder and his wife, Beverly of South Toms River, Louis Snyder and his wife, Katrina of Howell, and Chris Snyder of Jackson; eighteen grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; brothers, Gary Snyder, Kenneth Snyder and Geoffrey Snyder; sister, Katherine Urciuoli; and stepmother, Margaret Snyder.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:30 PM with his funeral service to follow.
