Obituary of Sharon Bressman

Sharon Bressman, 67, of Jackson passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township.  Sharon was born in Newark and had lived in Kearney and Toms River before moving to Jackson in 2011.  She worked in the staffing department for Assitive Choices, Wall Township.  Sharon loved listening to rock and roll music. 

She was a giving person with an outgoing personality and made friends everywhere she went.  In her younger years, she loved gambling in Atlantic City, where she was lucky enough to meet her loving partner, Gerald. 

Sharon is survived by her significant other of 30 years, Gerald Hood of Jackson; her daughter, Kimberly Hirsch of Freehold Township; stepdaughter, Kelly Heskett of Baltimore, MD; brother, Wayne Sloneker and his wife, Maureen of Toms River; grandsons, Brett Hirsch and Alec Hirsch; stepgrandchildren, Benjamin Heskett and Bella Heskett;  nephew, Wayne F. Sloneker and his wife, Michelle of Hazlet; and niece, Amy LaBarca and her husband, Chip of Toms River. 

A memorial gathering will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Sunday, September 10, 2017 from 2:00 to 5:30 with her memorial service to follow at 5:30 PM.  Inurnment will be private.   In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Sharon may be made to the MS Society, Aspen Corporate Park, 1480 US Highway 9 North, Suite 301, Woodbridge, NJ 07095.  For information, directions or condolence messages to the family, visit www.claytonfuneralhome.com
