Obituary of Gennaro Sabatino Toscano

Gennaro Sabatino Toscano, 29, of Winslow passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 9, 2017.  He was born and raised on 40th Street in Brooklyn, and settled here in 2007.  He was a self-employed carpenter who enjoyed saltwater fishing.  Gennaro was greatly loved and will be dearly missed.

He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Gennaro Toscano; and his maternal grandmother, Domenica Ilardo.  Gennaro is survived by his parents, Raffaele and Annamaria Toscano; sister, Amanda Toscano of Sicklerville; paternal grandmother, Antonietta Toscano of Long Island, NY; maternal grandfather, Antonio Ilardo of Freehold; his girlfriend, Lanna Utkina of Brooklyn, NY; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, especially Kris Pasley, who he came to love as a father. 

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Sunday, October 15, 2017 from 1:00 to 5:00 PM and 6:00 to 9:00 PM.  Relatives and friends are invited to gather at 11:00 AM at the funeral home on Monday, October 16, 2017 for the procession to his 12:00 Noon Funeral Mass at St. Mary of the Lake Church, 43 Madison Avenue, Lakewood.
