Obituary of Maksim Baranov

Maksim Baranov, 25, of West Belmar passed away suddenly on Wednesday, October 25, 2017.  He was born in Vladimir, Russia on March 21, 1992 and moved to the United States in 1997.  Max was a graduate of the Wall High School Class of 2010 and continued his education at Brookdale Community College, Lincroft.   He was an easy-going person with a great sense of humor.  Max enjoyed art and drawing, skateboarding, music and experimenting in the kitchen.  He also took great pride in training the family’s black lab, Annie.

He is predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Yuri Kovalev.  Max is survived by his loving mother, Elena Baranova and her husband, Frank Farmer of West Belmar; canine companion, Annie; grandmother, Nina Kovaleva; uncle, Sergei Kovalev and his wife, Natalia and her daughter, Irina of Vladimir, Russia.     

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Sunday, October 29, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 10:00 AM Funeral Service on Monday, October 30, 2017 at St. Alexander Nevsky Russian Orthodox Cathedral, 200 Alexander Avenue, Howell.  Interment will follow in St. Vladimir Russian Orthodox Cemetery, Cassville Road, Jackson.  For information, directions or condolence messages to the family, visit www.claytonfuneralhome.com
