Obituary of Wentao Jin

Wentao Jin, 98, of Freehold Township passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Bayshore Nursing Home, Holmdel.  He was born in Shanghai, China and came to the United States in 1997 and settled in Freehold Township. Curious by nature, he was an intelligent and knowledgeable man who enjoyed reading and playing on the computer.  Wentao was a loving father and grandfather.

He was predeceased by his wife, Meifeng Wu in 2014.  Wentao is survived by his son, Yi Chin and his wife, Shiugeen of Freehold Township; daughter, Xian Jian Jin and her husband, Zhi Qiang Lou of Canada; grandchildren, Mark Chin of Boston, Rosanna Chin of Manhattan, and Catherine Cheng of Hoboken; three brothers; and two sisters.

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Saturday, December 16, 2017 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM.  Inurnment will take place on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at 11:00 AM in Marlboro Memorial Cemetery, Marlboro.  For information, directions or condolence messages to the family, visit www.claytonfuneralhome.com
