Obituary of Delores Gravatt

Delores Gravatt, 58, of Bayville passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune.  She was born in Neptune, raised in Howell, and had lived in Brick for 30 years before settling in Bayville in 2012.  Delores retired as a financial service representative.  She also enjoyed interior decorating.  Delores loved to laugh and spend time with her family and friends.  Most of all, she was especially proud to be a Nan to her grandchildren. 

Delores was predeceased by her father, Kenneth Woolley, Sr.  She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Steven Gravatt of Bayville; daughter, Lauren Reynolds and her partner, Stephen Wheeler of Keyport; son, Chris Gravatt and his wife, Danielle of Atlanta Georgia; grandchildren, Madison and Grayson; mother, Sandra Woolley of Howell; brother, Kenny Woolley, Jr. and his wife, Kim of Howell; niece, Jessica Woolley of Howell; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Chester Gravatt and his wife, Charlotte of Brick, Lynn Bloxom and her husband, Doug of Brick, and their families.

A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 from 3:00 to 6:30 PM with her funeral service to follow at 6:30 PM.  Interment will be private.  For those who desire, donations in Delores’ name may be made to the Monmouth County SPCA, 260 Wall Street, Eatontown NJ 07724.  For information, directions, or condolence messages to the family, visit www.claytonfuneralhome.com.
