Miriam M. McGlynn, 81, of Freehold Township passed away at home on Monday, February 5, 2018. Miriam was born and raised on Staten Island, and had lived in Surf City for some years before settling in Freehold Township in 2017. She enjoyed going out to dinner, trips to Atlantic City, playing poker and bowling. Family, especially her grandchildren, was her greatest pleasure.
Miriam is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Edward McGlynn of Freehold Township; son, Gary McGlynn and his wife, Noelle of Alexandria, VA; daughter, Jill Verga and her husband, Anthony of Freehold Township; five grandchildren, Samantha, Hailey, Ryan, Cate and Matthew; and siblings, Bob Mayhew and his wife, Ann of NC; Carol Seminara of Staten Island; William Mayhew of Staten Island, and Richard Mayhew and his wife, Maureen of Middletown.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Saturday, February 10, 2018 from 1:00 to 5:00 PM. Interment will be private.
