Obituary of Michael J. Gattuso

Michael J. Gattuso, 88, of Howell passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township.  He was born and raised in Manhattan. Michael was as lifelong resident of Staten Island until moving to Howell Township.  He courageously served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War.  Michael was Chief of Emergency Medical Services at Seaview Hospital, Staten Island until his retirement in 1984.

Michael is survived by his wife, Gladys Gattuso of Howell; children, Joseph Gattuso and his wife, Denise of Sarasota, Florida, and Maria Gattuso and her husband, Daniel M. Sheehan of Howell; four grandchildren, Amy, Melinda, Joseph, and William; and seven great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, March 23, 2018 at 1:00 PM.  Interment will follow in Brigadier General William C.
