Obituary of Dorothy Graff
Dorothy M. Graff, 74, of Howell passed away peacefully at home on Friday, May 14, 2010. Mrs. Graff was born in New Brunswick and was raised and had lived in Edison before moving to Howell in 1968. Dorothy, along with her husband, owned and operated Kenneth L. Graff, Trenching & Trucking and The Korden Corp.
Mrs. Graff was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church, Lakewood. She enjoyed playing Bridge with the girls on Wednesdays.
She was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth L. Graff, Sr.; two brothers, John and Timothy Peters; and a sister, Eileen Campbell. Dorothy is survived by five daughters, Debra Lane of Howell, Diane Healy and her husband, Richard of Willard, North Carolina, Donna Lyerly and her husband, Alan of Salisbury, North Carolina, Denise Allmann and her husband, William of Jackson, and Dorothy Morgan and her husband, Glenn of Oceanport; a son, Kenneth L. Graff, Jr. and his wife, Lois of Duncan, South Carolina; eighteen grandchildren; a brother, Thomas; three sisters, Olga, Peggy, and Marylou; and many nieces and nephews.
Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township, NJ on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friend are invited to attend her Rite of Committal at the funeral home on Thursday, May 20, 2010 at 10:00 AM followed by her 11:00 AM funeral mass at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1141 East County Line Road, Lakewood, NJ. Interment to follow in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle NJ Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
