Obituary of Olive Nunn
Olive M. Nunn, 89, of Brick passed away on Saturday, June 19, 2010 at home. Mrs. Nunn was born in Lakewood and had lived in Asbury Park before moving to Brick in 1964. She was a homemaker, who prior to that managed the restaurant at the Crystal Motor Lodge, Eatontown until she retired in 1974. Mrs. Nunn was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Brick.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Olive was predeceased by her husband, Elmer L. Nunn in 1982 and two brothers, Clarence Clayton and Hartwell Clayton. She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law: Dolores Smith and her husband, James of Old Bridge and Doris Ference of Colorado Springs, CO; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one sister, Ruth Fornarotto of Glendola, Wall Twp.; one brother and sister-in-law, Leon Clayton and his wife, Shirley of Brick and her special caregiver, Aneta Oswarek.
Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524) Freehold Township on Wednesday, June 23, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at the funeral home on Thursday, June 24, 2010 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Farmingdale.
