Obituary of Henry Dyke

Henry E. Dyke, Jr., 88, of Manasquan, NJ died on Thursday, December 6, 2007 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Twp., NJ. Mr. Dyke was born in Chattanooga, TN; and had lived in Selma, AL; Westchester, NY; Freehold, NJ, and Hendersonville, NC, before moving to Manasquan last week. He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving during World War II. Mr. Dyke was a Sales Representative for Texaco Oil, Co., New York City, for over 30 years retiring in 1976. He was predeceased by his wife, Martha, in 1981. Surviving are: three daughters & their husbands: Martha & Tom Nicholson of Goldsboro, NC, Lisa & Stephen Govel of Manasquan, NJ, and Cynthia & Harvey Meldrum of Manasquan, NJ; six grandchildren: Stephanie Wagner, Matthew Nicholson, Sarah Nicholson, Stephen Govel, Emily Govel, and Spencer Govel; three great grandchildren: Hannah Wagner, Emma Wagner, and Eric Wagner; his Long-Time Companion: Gertrude Lunsford of Hendersonville, NC.
