





Obituary of Claire Frances Keeler
Claire Frances Keeler, 97, of Freehold Township passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2025 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. She was born in Lawrence, MA, raised in Cliffside Park and had lived in Edison before settling in Freehold in 1993. Claire was a dedicated secretary at Toplis and Harding for over 40 years, commuting into the city each day with a smile on her face. Outside of work, Claire found solace and joy in her faith as a parishioner at Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine Church in Freehold. She loved to travel and had been all over the world, having visited Ireland, Hawaii and Alaska to name a few. Claire was a kind and gentle soul who found pleasure in simple things like reading and watching Hallmark movies.
She was predeceased by her parents, Francis and Helen Dowd. Claire is survived by her two daughters, Karen Chandler and her husband, James of Little Egg Harbor and Kathy Keeler of Freehold; three grandchildren, Rheannon Valentin, Christopher Robinson and Kevin Robinson; and two great grandchildren, Sean Rutter and Liam Valentin.
A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 529), Freehold Township on Monday, February 3, 2025 from 8:30 to 10:00 with her 10:30 AM Funeral Mass to follow at the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township. Entombment will take place in Marlboro Memorial Cemetery, 361 Route 79, Morganville. Memorial contributions in Claires name may be made to American Cancer Society, P.O.
