Obituary of Lidia Carmen Falconi
Lidia Carmen Falconi, 73, of Freehold Township passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township NJ. She was born in Cochabamba, Bolivia and was raised and lived in Mendoza, Argentina. After immigrating to the United States in 1984, Lidia lived in Brooklyn and Staten Island, NY before settling here in 2009. Prior to retiring in 2022, she worked at Kennedy Airport in food prep and later at CentraState Medical Center in housekeeping. She loved to cook, clean and spend time in Lavalette on the Beach in the summer. Lidia had a passion for music and relished her time on a long walk. Her greatest joy in life was her family and she cherished her grandchildren.
Lidia was predeceased by her parents, Celestino and Maria Valda; brothers, Sergio Valda and Mario Valda; and her lifelong companion, Hugo Acosta. She is survived by her children, Riccardo Falconi and his wife, Louise of Freehold Township, Jessica Cangelosi and her husband, Michael of Freehold Township, twins, Ruben Dario Falconi and his wife, Jessica of Howell and Ruben Sebastian Falconi of Freehold Township; nine grandchildren; three siblings, Maria Rosario Vicencio, Juan Carlos Valda and his wife, Cecilia and Ivan Valda and his wife, Silvia Solar, all of Argentina; numerous nieces and nephews; and her canine companion, Rusty.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGIrr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Sunday, February 9, 2025 from 12:00 to 3:00 PM with her funeral service to follow at 3:00 PM.
