Robert A. Reese, 83, from Manalapan, New Jersey passed away Thursday, January 30,2025 at Advent Health Hospital, Wesley Chapel, Florida.  Robert was raised in North Arlington, New Jersey before settling in Manalapan.  Robert attended North Arlington High School where he played 3 Varsity sports-football, baseball, and basketball. Some of Robert’s notable athletic achievements included winning the New Jersey State Football Championship in 1956 and later being inducted into the North Arlington High School’s Hall of Fame for his athleticism.  After college, Robert served as an accountant throughout his career and retired from Guest Supply (Sysco Corporation) as Chief Financial Officer.  During retirement Robert enjoyed spending time with family and his beloved wife Rosemary Reese and traveling to Las Vegas and Atlantic City.

He was predeceased by his parents John and Helen Reese, brother Jack and sister Evelyn, and wife of 38 years, Rosemary.  Robert Reese is survived by his two sons: Dr. Robert Reese Jr., and his wife Kim of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina; Michael Reese of Wesley Chapel, Florida and a daughter, Kristine Hensley of Wesley Chapel, Florida; his two grandsons Harrison Reese of Austin, Texas and Matthew Hensley of Wesley Chapel, Florida; his two granddaughters Alex Griffith of Elkton, Maryland and Taylor DelaFuente and her husband David of Dallas, Texas; and great grandchildren Ramona Foster of Elkton, Maryland and Leonardo and Rafael DelaFuente of Dallas, Texas.

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Saturday, February 22, 2025 from 9:00 to 11:30 AM with his funeral service to begin at 11:30 AM. Entombment will follow at 12:15 PM in St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, 299 Freehold-Englishtown Road, Freehold Township, New Jersey.
