We are so blessed to have known Ron! We had the good fortune of meeting his wife Patti some 20 years ago while playing games on line. As we are from Tennessee this was a long distance friendship but they invited us to their home and we accepted the invitation and so grateful that we did! When we met Ron he was the kindest and most welcoming soul to us. He had a great smile, laugh and loved his jokes. His love and respect of Patti, family and friends was a quality that we admired greatly. His knowledge of horses, sports and current events was always great conversation and fun. He was always interested in our lives and made us feel like he had known us forever. For all these things we were blessed that our paths crossed. We will miss our dear friend and as Patti said He was one of the good guys, he certainly was in our book!. Rest in peace Ron and we will see you again.
So lucky to have had the chance to know and work with Ron, such a kind soul! He will be missed. Players and love to Patty and family.

I miss my friend. I am so sad hearing of his passing. I can still hear his voice. My wife and I had known Ronnie since we were kids growing up in Union. Ronnie was a very unique person. We would go to the Medowlands in all kinds of weather to bet horses and just be together. We would talk on the phone every so often which brought joy to my ears and my heart. He will always be in my thoughts.
