We are so sorry of the lost of Barbara Horter. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and our condolences as well. For the past 27 years we saw her a lot at the Special Olympics Summer Games and opening ceremonies. She was a very dedicated coach and volunteer in all the Special Olympics programs. May God have mercy on her soul. She will be well remembered in sprit of all the Special Olympics NJ activities. Deepest sympathy to the family.

I met Barbara through Gamma Sigma Sigma National Service Sorority. We both served on the National Board of Directors. We would sometimes visit each other after National Meetings and Conventions in both New Jersey and Wisconsin. Her dedication to Special Olympics was legendary and her major area of service through our sorority. An outstanding "sister" and friend.
