Condolences
A great attorney and a great guy. Always ready with the joke. It was my privilege to know him.

I join in the testimonial of Frank Accisano about Jerry.A great great guy who was always a pleasure to talk to.How he could remember all of the jokes he told was amazing.Jerry’s life was meaningful and significant and I share in the many tributes about him.
My truly heartfelt condolences to Jerry's family at the passing of my dear friend. I had the pleasure (and sometimes a little pain) of dealing with Jerry over the many years I represented the Freehold Township Planning Board where he was practically a fixture. Always cheerful, always prepared, always easy to engage and always ready to help in the process. He was also the fearless leader of our intermittent golf outings with Roger McLaughlin, Sal Alfieri and myself. We were a group he christened "The Bogie Bunch." Very warm memoeries.
I believe that one of the nicest things that can be said about anyone is that they cannot be called to mind without an accompanying smile. That's Jerry. I am smiling now. Farewell my friend and rest in peace.
Frank Accisano
I've known Jerry since the very early 1980's working as a local newspaper staff writer. I was always happy to see Jerry's name on an agenda as an applicant's attorney because these municipal meetings were, more often than not, an exercise in energy vampirism. Knowing Jerry was going to be there actually made it something to look forward to - almost live theater. Along with being a much-in-demand, pre-eminent land use expert, Jerry was also possessed of a devilishly bawdy sense of humor that made his appearances before any township's Planning/Zoning Board's not only a pleasure to work but something to look forward to as I knew he would not only be concise and informative (always able to translate legal-speak into English for me for the story) there was the probability he would crack me up. Many's the time I literally burst out laughing during a meeting at one of his hilarious asides and snappy retorts. I have nothing but the fondest memories of him and hope his family all take solace in knowing how respected and loved he was. Truly, to know Jerry was to love him!
