Obituary of Claudio Martinez
Claudio Martinez, 58, of Freehold Borough passed away peacefully at home on Monday, March 17, 2025. He was born in Cali, Colombia, raised in Spain, and immigrated to the United States in 1979 at the age of 15 settling in Brick. In 1980 his family moved to Freehold where he remained until the time of his unexpected passing. Claudio was a licensed realtor with Century 21 and the State of New Jersey and was also a sales consultant for Safety Net. He loved to eat steak, relax on the beach and play with his best friend, his dog, Pablo. A social and personable man, Claudio was always dressed to the nines. He was a fitness fanatic who was always working out. In his spare time, he could be found riding his Harley and spending time with his brothers.
Claudio was predeceased by his nephew, Dominic Victor Martinez; and his uncle, Gustavo Arana. He is survived by his daughters, Claudia (Cloud) Martinez and her fiancé, Zack Everson and London Martinez and her boyfriend, Kyle Holon; mother, Nancy Martinez; father, Clemente Antonio Martinez; brothers, Juan Carlos Martinez and his wife, Kristin and Tony Martinez and his wife, Alma; aunts and uncles, Elsy Galindez, Federico Galindez, Jorge Galindez, Gloria Arana, and Socorro Galindez; nieces and nephews, Nicolas Clemente Martinez, Antonio Martinez, Jr., Alexandra Martinez, Ashley Francesca Martinez, Adriahna Martinez, and Alejandro Martinez; cousins, Gustavo Arana, Jr., Alejandro Galindez, Michelle Jasinski, Juan Camilo Arias, Elias Fernandez, Flor Fernandez, Stephanie Harmon, Claudia Galindez-Feliz, Diana Galindez, Carolina Arias, and Isabella Arana; and the mother of his children, Jacqueline Longo.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Saturday, March 22, 2025 from 1:00 to 4:30 PM with his funeral service to follow.
