Obituary of Judith Decker

Judith Decker, 73, of Freehold Township passed away at home on Wednesday, March 19, 2025.  Born in Staten Island, Judith retired as a legal assistant for O’Neill and O’Neill, during which time she had the pleasure of working with her granddaughter, Alyssa. She embodied sophistication, always polished and poised, with an air of timeless elegance that never wavered.  Judith had a flair for creativity and enjoyed crafting, quilting and making baby books.  Everyone who came in her path was blessed to feel her unconditional love.  A devoted mother and Nanny, Judith’s greatest treasure was her family.

She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Decker; and her siblings, Robyn Mullaney and Harold Johnsen.  Judith is survived by her children, Annmarie Caporellie and her husband, Daniel, Jackie Larsen and her husband, Bernard, and Neal Decker and his wife, Angelise; bonus daughter, Carrieann Brewer; grandchildren, Krystle and her husband, Anthony, Daniel and his wife, Brianna, Natasha and her husband, Zach, Nicole and her husband, Ahmed, Daniel and his wife, Danielle, Giuseppe and his wife, Alyssa, Victoria and her husband, Louis, Gionna, Noel, Skye, Jordan, Chaneal, and Charlee; eighteen great grandchildren; and siblings, Charles Farless, Maureen Perry, Philip Farless, Anna Brady, Walter Johnsen, and Kim Monteil.  

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 11:30 AM Memorial Mass on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at St. Gabriels Historic Church, 549 Newman Springs Road, Marlboro.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Judith’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.  All arrangements are under the direction of the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township.  For information, directions or to leave condolence messages for the family, visit www.claytonfuneralhome.com
