
Obituary of Jean Agnes Cuomo
Jean Agnes Cuomo, 80, of Freehold passed away peacefully at home on Friday March 21, 2025. Jean was born, raised, and had lived in Brooklyn. She moved to the Heartland Village section of Staten Island and then to Manalapan before settling here in 2022. Jean was a former parishioner of St. Patrick’s Church, Staten Island. She loved to travel even making her way on to an Alaskan glacier. A lover of the arts, Jean was a Bob Ross fan and was a painter herself, working with oil on canvas. Yet nothing meant as much to her as her family. Jean was a devoted wife for 54 years, a loving mom and an adoring Nonna.
Jean was predeceased by her daughter, Mary and sister, Diana Hager and Ruby Stromland. She is survived by her husband, Frank Joseph Cuomo; two daughters, Theresa Camarda and her husband, Thomas and Christina Lindquist and her husband, Anthony; three grandchildren, Thomas E., Anthony J., and Nina; and her sister, Ellen Scotti.
A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Monday, March 24, 2025 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 and 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home on Tuesday March 25, 2025 at 9:00 AM for the procession to her 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 186 Gordons Corner Road, Manalapan. Interment will follow in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle NJ Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Road, Arneytown.
