Obituary of Joseph A. Domino

Joseph A. Domino, 78, of Toms River passed away on Friday, March 21, 2025 at Tallwoods Care Center, Berkeley.  He was born, raised and had lived in Brooklyn, moved to the Bulls Head section of Staten Island and eventually settled here in 2013.  Joseph served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and then began a successful career as a bond broker on Wall Street.  He was a member of the American Legion. In retirement Joseph was a bus driver for Pioneer Transportation, Staten Island.  He loved saltwater fishing, shooting pool and trips to Atlantic City.  Joseph’s most important role was as loving husband, father and “Pepa”.

He was predeceased by his sister, Dolores; and granddaughters, Gia and Mia.  Joseph is survived by his wife, Mary Domino; stepdaughter, AnnMarie Osorio and her husband, Mark; grandsons, Mark, Jr. and Nicholas; and siblings, Al and Barbara. 

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM.   Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at 9:30 AM for the procession to his 11:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. Rita’s Catholic Church, 281 Bradley Avenue, Staten Island.  Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, 361 Sharrott Avenue, Staten Island.  For information, directions or to leave condolence messages for the family, visit www.claytonfuneralhome.com
