Obituary of Diane Friedman
Diane Friedman, 81, of Farmingdale passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 23, 2025 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Diane was raised and lived in Brooklyn. She lived in West Nyack before moving to Farmingdale in 1991. Along with her husband, Garrett, they operated an aerial advertising company for over thirty years until retiring in the 2000’s.
Diane had a deep passion for crocheting and knitting, creating baby blankets for newborns, sweaters and blankets for school charity events, and warm comfort blankets for cancer patients. Each piece was crafted with love—she insisted on giving them to those in need.
She dedicated herself to being the perfect homemaker, taking immense pride in maintaining and managing her home with care and precision.
Yet, above all else, being "Grammy" was her greatest joy. Whether attending school events or cheering from the sidelines at sports games, her grandchildren were the light of her life.
Diane is survived by her husband of sixty years, Garrett Friedman; two daughters, Jillian Reasor and her husband, Chris and Joy Dudley and her husband, Gary; two adoring grandsons, Michael Reasor and his wife, Chloe and Robert Reasor.
