
Obituary of Helen J. Magliaro
Helen J. Magliaro, 92, of Marlboro passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at Sunrise of Marlboro. She was born and raised in West Orange, lived in Toms River, and settled in Freehold at the Sunrise of Marlboro 2 years ago. Helen worked for many years in West Orange for Llewellyn-Edison Savings Bank as a Bank Teller. She was a member of the Seaside Italian American Club and the Gamblers Anonymous support group, alongside her late husband, Dominick. Helen enjoyed watching her grandchildren play sports, especially baseball, and was an avid fan of the Yankees. She was an amazing cook and would often travel, her favorite places being Aruba and Italy. Helen was most importantly a devoted mother and grandmother.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 68 years, Dominick Magliaro; and brothers, Russell and Sal. Helen is survived by her children, Donna Meola, Michael Magliaro and his wife, Mary Anne, and Mark Magliaro and his wife, Denise; and grandchildren, Stephanie Meola, Michael Meola, Gene Magliaro, Landa Papashvilli and her husband, George, Gianni Magliaro, and Christian Magliaro.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Tuesday, April1, 2025 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 10:00 AM funeral service on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at the Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 225 Ridgedale Avenue, East Hanover.
