Obituary of Frank F. Alfano

Frank F. Alfano, 87, of Freehold Township passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2025 at Bartley Healthcare Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.  He was born and raised in Elizabeth and had lived in Menlo Park, Monroe and Marlboro before settling to Freehold twenty- two years ago. For 26 dedicated years, Frank served as a custodian at the Manalapan Englishtown Regional Board of Education, where his hard work and commitment to excellence were evident in every task he undertook. He took great pride in his work, understanding the importance of creating a clean and welcoming environment for the community he cherished.  Frank was a self-taught man, embodying the spirit of perseverance and determination. He approached life with a strong work ethic and a passion for learning, inspiring those around him to strive for their best. Above all, Frank was a devoted family man. His family was his greatest joy, and he instilled in them the values of hard work and loyalty.

He is predeceased by his daughter, Linda Mary Alfano; parents, Michael and Ella Alfano; siblings, Albert Alfano, Georgie Alfano, Loubeck Alfano, Martin Alfano, Lena Santilli, Michael Alfano, Mary Gallagher and Charlie Alfano. Frank is survived by his wife, Irene Alfano; three daughters, Cindy Barnes and her husband, Timothy, Jacqueline Alfano and Tara Verzella and her husband, Christopher; nine grandchildren, Alexis, Joseph, Antonio, Izabella, Lexton Frank, Lewis, Jacob, Maxamillion and Elliot; many nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Entombment will take place at 10:00 AM on Monday, April 14, 2025 at Frost Woods Memorial Park, 336 New Brunswick Avenue, East Brunswick.
