Joyce Roe,89, a lifetime resident of Adelphia, passed peacefully at her home on April 10th, after a courageous battle with cancer. Her beloved grandson Richard Vafiadis was at her side providing strength and loving support throughout.

Joyce was predeceased by her husband Stanley, son Kevin, and step-daughter Patricia Roe Dore.

Joyce is survived by her daughter Darlene Roe Vafiadis, son Roger Roe, sister Elizabeth Wells, brother Richard Simpkin, six grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.

Joyce will be remembered as a loving, selfless woman who had a passion for flowers and nature. She was always tending to her flowers. In younger days, Joyce's passion for nature was shared with her grandchildren when she would take them camping.

Joyce's "go to" happy place for forty plus years was Lancaster PA. so she truly could be in nature.

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM with her funeral service to begin at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow in Adelphia Cemetery, Wycoff Mills Road, Adelphia.
