Salvatore “Toto” Guccione 97, of Freehold, NJ passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 in his home surrounded by his loved ones. Salvatore was born and raised in Vizzini, Sicily. He was known to be a curious and adventurous child and became a responsible young adult who started working as an apprentice in his uncle’s woodwork shop at the age of 12. Sal married the love of his life Maria in his hometown and soon after they took the long ocean voyage to build a better life in the United States where they settled in Brooklyn, NY.

Sal took pride in his work and impressed everyone with his skills. In addition to carpentry, he loved anything that had to do with building and fixing - from electronics to plumbing, cars, and more. Sal also enjoyed the outdoors, especially tending to his garden - vegetables and fig trees.
He was a hard-working family man who always had time for his family. Sal would always be available to help out friends and family with anything from a ride to the airport to fixing an appliance.
