Obituary of Barbara Lynn Wolpert

Barbara Lynn Wolpert, 68, of Howell Township passed away on Saturday June 21, 2025, at King Manor, Neptune. She was born and raised in Brooklyn and had lived in Somerset before settling in Howell in 2019. Barbara was a teacher at Cedarbrook Elementary School, where she taught Special Education with passion and care. She touched the lives of countless students and colleagues with her kindness and dedication to her work. Outside of her work, Barbara found joy in being a grandmother and spending time with her loved ones. She had a talent for crafting and enjoyed gathering with her friends at Four Seasons at Monmouth Woods. Barbara also loved playing Mahjong and attending shows and concerts with her beloved husband, Joel.

She is predeceased by her parents, Stanley and Arlene Furman. Barbara is survived by her husband, Joel Wolpert of Howell; daughter, Jennifer Baum and her husband, David of Tinton Falls; two grandchildren, Greyson and Ava; sister, Tammy Furman.

A graveside service will take place at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at Mount Sinai Cemetery & Mausoleum, 374 Highway 79, Morganville, NJ 07751.
