Obituary of Diane M. Whikehart

Diane M. Whikehart, 77, of Staten Island passed away on Thursday July 3, 2025. Born in England, Diane immigrated to the United States at the age of nineteen, proudly becoming a United States citizen in 1968. She had lived in the Bronx and Brooklyn before settling on Staten Island. Diane was known for her incredible baking skills and her love for traveling. Her greatest accomplishments were her four sons, whom she loved dearly. Throughout her life, Diane was known for her kindness and loving nature.

Diane is predeceased by her loving husband, James Whikehart; parents, Reginald and Dorothy Norman; brother, Steven Norman and sister, Jacklyn Norman. She is survived by her four sons, Dean Whikehart of Marlboro, James Whikehart and his wife, Marlo of Long Island, Neil Whikehart of Staten Island and John Whikehart; five grandchildren, DJ, Michael, Nicholas, Damien and Sabrina.

A gathering of friends will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Saturday, July 26, 2025, from 12:00-3:30 PM with her funeral service to follow.
