Obituary of Hanna Piotrowicz
Heaven Gained an Angel - Hanna Piotrowicz, 70, of Keansburg passed away on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at Bayshore Medical Center with her husband by her side. She was born in Poznan, Poland and immigrated to the United States in 1988 at the age of 33 seeking a better life for herself and her family. She settled in Port Reading, N.J. and later Perth Amboy before finally settling in Keansburg in 2000. She was a shining example of selflessness, purity, and love. Hanna was always caring and passionate, putting the needs of others before her own. Anyone who crossed paths with her always felt her positive energy. Hanna worked as Quality Control at Ameri-Tex for over 25 years, where she worked tirelessly to ensure the highest standards were met. In her free time, she enjoyed making pierogies, sewing, solving cross word puzzles, and watching her favorite soap opera, Days of Our Lives. Hanna took pride in keeping a clean home and always had a warm meal ready for anyone who entered her door. As a tribute to Hanna's pure and loving spirit, the family has requested that all attendees wear white to her visitation.
She is predeceased by her sister, Matgorzata Klos; Hanna is survived by her mother, Ryszarda Szczerbanewicz; husband, Marek Piotrowicz of Keansburg; two daughters, Marzena Pierro and her husband, Eric of Branchville and Klaudia Piotrowicz of Sayreville; six grandchildren, Katherine, Eric, Isabella, Angelina, Jeanette and Teresa; great granddaughter, Emily; and sister, Barbara Kulminski and her husband, Jerzy of Port Reading.
