Obituary of Lois Susan Bricker

Lois Susan Sackett Bricker, age 83, of Riverdale, NY, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at the Brandywine Assisted Living Facility.  Born on May 20, 1942, Lois spent her entire life in the Bronx until recently moving to New Jersey.  She studied at F.I.T and began a fulfilling career in the fashion industry.  For over 20 years, she dedicated herself as a program coordinator at the YM & YWHA, managing a home care service for seniors in the Washington Heights & Inwood community.

Lois was a beacon of love and warmth, cherished not only by her family but also by countless friends she held dear throughout her life.  Her favorite pastime after retirement was connecting with friends around the world, from elementary school pals to cherished neighbors and lifelong colleagues.  Lois's kindness and warmth touched everyone she met, and her presence will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her twin children, Steven Bricker and his wife, Debra, of New York City, and Judith Bricker and Douglas Zimmel of Toms River; and three beautiful grandchildren, Jason, Eliana, and Rebecca.
