Obituary of George David Roessler
George David Roessler, 87, of Manahawkin passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. George was born in Trenton and raised in Clifton. He received his bachelor’s degree from Bucknell University and his master’s degree from Stevens Institute of Technology. George also served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He retired in the early 2000’s as the owner of Quay Corporation, a computer board company, after creating the company in the 1970’s. Prior to that, George was a V.P. for Texas Instruments.
He was a licensed pilot and was formerly involved in the Boy Scouts in Freehold Township. George was a skilled woodworker and could build anything, from trim to cabinets. As a member of the N.J. Beach Buggy Association, he was a skilled angler either from a boat or the surf. As a husband for over fifty years, a father of three, and a grandfather of two, family was everything to him.
He was predeceased by his sister, Eileen Qualick. George is survived by his wife, Frances “Fran” Roessler; children, Dr. Mark Roessler, David Roessler and his wife, Helen and Lisa Martins; granddaughters, Julia and Lily; sister, Sally Robertson.
