Obituary of Biagio Bumbalo
On Thursday, July 31st Biagio Bumbalo, 84 years old, took his last breath and lost his battle with cancer. He was an Italian-American immigrant that came to the United States in 1956. He grew to love bowling and sports in this country. He was a huge NY Mets and NY Giants fan. He also loved great food, going to Atlantic City, playing cards and going on cruises. He was a simple hardworking man that above all placed value on tradition and love of family. He absolutely loved making people laugh and had the best sense of humor. To have known him was to love and adore him.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Gilda Bumbalo; children, Frank Bumbalo and his wife, Carolina, Dino Bumbalo and his wife, Gina, Linda Bumbalo, and Gina D’Amore and her husband, Enrico; grandchildren, Veronica, Victoria, Julianna, Sebastian, and Santino; and siblings, Anthony, Concetta, and Pina.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Sunday, August 3, 2025 from 2:00 to 6:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 10:00 AM Funeral Mass on Monday, August 4, 2025 at St. Aloysius Church, 935 Bennetts Mils Road, Jackson.
