Obituary of Helen C. Noto
Helen C. "Pinky" Noto, 88, of Freehold Township, passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at Mattison Crossing, Freehold. She was born in New London Connecticut and was raised in Waterford and had lived in Jackson, Howell and Florida before settling in Freehold seven years ago. Pinky was a devoted volunteer at St. Veronicas church and a loving homemaker. She had a passion for animals and spent much of her time caring for them and advocating for their well-being. Her greatest accomplishment in life was being loved by her family, who cherished her kind and generous spirit. Pinky will be remembered for her passion for ceramics and crocheting, hobbies that brought her joy and fulfillment throughout her life. She had a talent for creating beautiful works of art with her hands, always willing to share her creations with those around her.
Pinky is predeceased by her husband, James P. Noto; son, Kevin Ritz; daughter, Debra Ritz; grandsons, Gavin Kau and Robert Daly; sister, Mary Lou Richards and her dog, Bella. She is survived by her four children, Gary Ritz of Florida, Michael Ritz and his partner, Cynthia Natale of Freehold, Lori Ritz of Jackson and Thomas Ritz of Florida; thirteen grandchildren, Jessie, Kevin, Casey, Mikey, Christopher, Taylor, Chelsea, Jessica, Melissa, Dylan, Kaitlynn, Caitlyn and Joseph; eleven great grandchildren; former husband and best friend, Thomas D. Ritz of Florida.
