Obituary of Russell Alan Breitweiser

Russell Alan Breitweiser, 60, of Morganville passed away on August 11, 2025. He was born in South Amboy, raised in Sayreville, and settled in Marlboro in 1982. Russell graduated with honors from Devry Technical School and was a passionate singer, song writer, and author.

He was predeceased by his father, Charles P. Breitweiser, Jr.; step-father, William J. Carney; and brother, Charles P. Breitweiser, III. Russell is survived by his mother, Shirley (Breitweiser) Carney; sisters, Cheryl A. Palew and her husband, David, and Sandra M. Weston and her husband, Erik; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Sunday, August 24, 2025 from 2:00 to 6:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 12:00 PM Funeral Mass on Monday, August 25, 2025 at St. Gabriel’s Historic Church, 549 Newman Springs Road, Marlboro. Entombment will follow in St. Gabriel’s Cemetery & Chapel Mausoleum, 549 Newman Springs Road, Marlboro.
