Obituary of Kenneth Mark Reiser, Sr.

Kenneth Mark “Ken” Reiser, 62, of Jackson, NJ passed away on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at his residence. He was born in Rahway and was raised in Brick and had lived in Cranford and Raritan Borough before moving to Jackson in 1999. In January, he and his loving wife, Kathleen (Fluhr), celebrated their 27^th wedding anniversary. Ken was a devoted and loving father who took great pleasure in his two sons and their achievements. He never missed an opportunity to express how proud he was of them.

Ken was a Blue Seal Boiler Operator at RWJ Barnabas, Livingston, where he worked to ensure the safety and comfort of others. In his free time, he liked working on his cars, cooking, the beach, and the ocean. Ken had a passion for music, particularly for Rock, Country and Reggae. He also enjoyed reading the comic strip Calvin and Hobbes. In the past, Ken found joy in skiing, fishing, golf, and dirt bike riding. He was also very patriotic and loved his country deeply.

Ken was predeceased by his mother, Louis Falkenberg Collier and grandmother, Estelle Falkenberg. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Reiser of Jackson; two sons, Kenneth Reiser, Jr. and Kyle Reiser of Jackson; mother-in-law, Eileen M. Fluhr; sisters-in-law, Barbara Mulchay and her husband, Bob; Roseann Bucciarelli and her husband, Keith; and brothers-in-law, Thomas Fluhr and his wife, Lisa; Robert Fluhr; and Walter Fluhr; as well as many wonderful nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, September 12, 2025, from 2:00 to 5:30 PM with his funeral service to follow at 5:30 PM.
