Obituary of Dolores Thomas

Dolores Thomas, 82, of Brick passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at Atlantic Coast Rehabilitation, Lakewood.  Dolores was born and raised in Newark and had lived in Irvington and Union before settling in Four Seasons at Brick.  She worked at JC Penney in Ocean County Mall as a saleswoman for 10 years.  Dolores was a fitness fanatic who took care of herself and worked out often.  She enjoyed traveling and vacationing with her late husband, especially trips to Atlantic City.  Dolores loved nothing more than spending time with her family and took great pride in hosting all of the major holidays. 

She was predeceased by her loving husband, Anthony Thomas in February of this year.  Dolores is survived by her son, Anthony Thomas and his wife, Marisell of Matawan; daughter, Gina Lieblein and her husband, Fred of Bridgewater; three grandchildren, Zach, Mia, and Jade; and her two beloved cats, Beauty and Martha.

A memorial gathering will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Monday, November 17, 2025 from 6:00 to 7:30 PM with her memorial service following at 7:30 PM.  Inurnment will be private.  For information, directions or condolence messages to the family, visit www.claytonfuneralhome.com.
