Jeanne Pacyna
Return to Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home

Obituary of Jeanne Marie Pacyna

Jeanne Marie Pacyna, 77, of Manalapan passed away on Friday, November 7th, 2025. She was born in Staten Island, New York, but lived her whole life in New Jersey. She was raised in East Brunswick, where she met her future husband, Dennis, outside her High School. After Denny returned from the army they wed and moved to Manalapan to start their family. Jeanne held many jobs throughout her life, but her proudest accomplishment was being a mom to her three children and an amazing grandmom to her six grandchildren. Jeanne was a perfectionist at life and wanted to make sure that everyone around her knew their importance. She valued family & faith over EVERYTHING else. She celebrated every birthday, holiday and even small events like they were the most important days. When her husband passed rather quickly in 2019, Jeanne slowly declined from a broken heart. Today, we can tell you with much relief that they are reunited, and she is once again, happy and as vibrant as all who loved and remembered her!

She is survived by her three children: Laurie Pfremmer and her husband, Gregory of Jackson, Daniel Pacyna and his wife, Megan of Flemington, and Leigh Ann Pacyna of Hendersonville, NC. Her six grandchildren; Michael, Matthew, Thomas, Benjamin, Luke; Katherine (she got her granddaughter as a finale!) She is survived by her siblings:Colleen Donahue, Michael O’Brien; James O’Brien; she was preceded in death by her sister, Maureen Carollo as well as her parents, Jeanne Marie and Michael O’Brien.

Jeanne suffered these past few years with dementia, as her mother did. She couldn’t pull herself back after the loss of her husband. She would want you all to learn from her struggles! LOVE big… but also LIVE big! Make memories, have a party for everything, spend time with your family as much as you can. Life is short, enjoy every second. But please don’t be sad for her… she worked hard here in life to be able to live her eternity with her soulmate and all those she missed so much. We are happy to say she is there! Please don’t cry for her…. SMILE, because you were lucky enough to have her in your life! God bless our queenie, Jeanne Marie!

Towards the end of her life, Jeanne needed assistance lovingly provided by her nurse, Stacey, who helped her remain home. She then was cared for by the staff at Dove Services and SpringPoint Living a special thank you to Sharon and her team in the memory care unit. Her family is immensely grateful for their steadfast care.
