Obituary of Charlotte Trainor

Charlotte McMinis Trainor, 77, of New Egypt passed away unexpectedly at home on Monday, October 27th, 2025. Charlotte was born in Newark, NJ, was raised in Belleville, and moved to Nutley during middle school. After graduating from Cedar Crest College in Allentown, PA. in 1984, she has made her home in New Egypt. Charlotte was a Laboratory Technician. Her employers included Hoffmann LaRoche in Allentown and Merck & Co. in Rahway. Following retirement she worked for Colts Head Veterinary Services in Millstone.

Charlotte was a lover of animals and had many dogs and horses over the years, her favorite was a quarter horse named Sparky. She supported many animal charities, including Riding High Farms, Handicapped High Riders Club in Allentown, and Helping Hearts Equine Rescue in Millstone. She also donated her time at Marty's Place, a senior dog sanctuary.

Charlotte enjoyed traveling with her mother. She also enjoyed a life-long friendship with a group of girls from middle and high school that has transcended generations and still exists to this day. Charlotte treasured this family.

Charlotte was predeceased by her mother and stepfather, Marion and James Ausmus and her father and stepmother, Robert and Ruth McMinis. Her cousin, Ora Walker and her daughter, Cecelia Walker-Walter survive her, as well as many dear friends and her loyal dog, Farley.
