Obituary of Jessica Danielle Purcell

Jessica Danielle Purcell, 48, of Howell passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.  She was born in Plainfield, raised in East Brunswick and had lived in South River before settling here in 2011.  Nothing mattered more to Jessica than her family and she was truly a dedicated mother, daughter, sister, and aunt.  She was an amazing caretaker for her father always demonstrating patience and compassion.  For Jessica, happiness was a warm cup of coffee and cuddling with her pup, Kori Jane.  She always looked forward to family vacations at the beach. Those who had the pleasure of knowing her, knew she had her own special way of making people laugh and smile. Jessica will be dearly missed, and never forgotten.

She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Demetrie and Christine Plaskon; and paternal grandparents, Albert and Carol Getz.  Jessica is survived by her daughters, Morgan and Nicole; parents, Gary and Barbara Getz; siblings, Missy Thomas and her husband, Michael and Deanna Getz and her husband, Rob; nieces, Madison and Macie; god father, Robert Plaskon; best friend, Nikki Kinsey; and many loving family members and friends. 

A memorial service will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at 3:00 PM.
