Obituary of Colomba Locicero
Colomba “Bina” Locicero, 59, of Millstone passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. She was born in Mola di Bari, Italy, and came to the United States in 1969 settling in Brooklyn. Bina lived in Brooklyn and Port St. Lucie before moving to New Jersey in 2010. She loved spending time at the beach in Florida or taking trips, with her husband, to Atlantic City. Many will remember her from Angelo’s Italian Market in Little Silver, that is owned and operated by her son and son-in-law. Some of her family’s favorite memories include the times Bina created the most delicious spread, especially Christmas calzones and tiramisu. She was the best “Nonna” to her five beloved grandchildren and her passing leaves an emptiness her family can never fill.
Bina was predeceased by her father, Domenico Grisanti. She is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Peter Locicero; children, Sara Marcano and her husband, Jonathan of Jackson, Angelo Locicero and his wife, Allie of Middletown, Maria Locicero and her husband, Anthony Yaccarine of New Egypt and Dom Locicero of Millstone; five grandchildren, Giovanni, Milania, Luciano, Gianna and Alessia; mother, Maria Grisanti; sister, Diane Grisanti; brother, Nick Grisanti and his wife, Lauren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at 9:30 AM for the procession to her 10:30 AM Funeral Mass at the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township. Entombment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery, 169 West Main Street, Freehold Township. For those that cannot attend in person, the family invites you to participate via Webcast, HERE. In honor of Bina’s final wishes, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family for her funeral arrangements.
