Adele Bradley, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2025, after a courageous 2+ year battle with cancer. She was 80 years old.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, to Andrew and Margaret Garbarini, Adele grew up surrounded by family and faith. She was predeceased by her parents, her sister Lenore O'Connor, and her devoted husband of 55 years, James P. Bradley.
Adele is survived by her loving sister, Joyce Torresson; her children, Theresa Salvani and her husband Anthony of Freehold, NJ; James J. Bradley of Denver, CO; and Mary DeLuca and her husband Joe of Fort Mill, SC. She was a proud grandmother to six grandchildren: Maggie, Erin, and Lily Salvani; Asher and Anderson Bradley; and Joseph DeLuca. Adele is also remembered by many nieces and nephews, as well as dear friends who were like family. She will be cherished for her warmth, resilience, and unwavering love for her family—a legacy that lives on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Over the years, Adele lovingly cared for many children as a nanny, becoming a cherished part of the families she served. She was also an avid sewer, known for creating beautiful garments and crafts that her family will treasure for generations. Adele saved all year to always have a family vacation and special treats under the tree at Christmas!
A Celebration of Life will be held at Clayton & McGirr Funeral home on Thursday, December 4, 2025, from 4:00 to 8:00pm.
A chapel service will be held at BG William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery on Friday December 5, 2025 at 12:30 PM with lunch to follow. Please arrive 30 minutes early to the cemetery.
