Obituary of Lorraine J. Brunelle

Lorraine J. Brunelle, 84, of Manasquan passed away on Friday, November 21, 2025 at Wedgwood Gardens, Freehold. She was born in Jersey City, raised in Guttenberg, and lived in Freehold before settling in Manasquan 25 years ago. Lorraine received her master’s degree and became a successful teacher for the Lakewood Elementary School. She enjoyed completing sudoku and crossword puzzles in her spare time. Lorraine would often watch jeopardy and go out to eat with her friends. She was a dog lover and dedicated countless hours volunteering at her local church, helping those in need.

She was predeceased by her husband, David T. Brunelle; and brother, Alan. Lorraine is survived by her children, Lauren Hodges and her husband, Jeff, and David Brunelle; grandchildren, Tyler, Morgan, Sophia, and Christopher; brother, Richard Broszeit and his wife, Nora; and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 12:00 PM interment on Friday, November 28, 2025 in Old Tennent Cemetery, 454 Tennent Road, Manalapan.
