Obituary of Diane Gambino
Diane Gambino, 61, of Jackson passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus, Lakewood. She was born in Brooklyn and raised in Old Bridge before settling in Jackson. Diane was one of the first graduating classes of the Mason Gross School of the Arts of Rutgers University, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts. She was a gifted artist. Diane had many commissioned pieces, but her favorite pieces hung on the walls of her sisters. She was a former member of the Howell Women’s Club and loved her pets. Diane was many things, but her most important attribute was being a devoted sister and fun aunt to her many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her beloved parents. Rosario and Maryann Gambino. Diane is survived by her siblings, Andrea Menhart and her husband, Steven, Elaine Haggar and her husband, Louis, and Janet Mennona and her husband, Steven; nieces and nephews, Steven and Brian, Christine and Ryan, Marianne and David and John, Steven and Brianna, and Nicole and Paul; and great nieces and nephews, Willow and John, and Christian and Noelle.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 10:00 AM Funeral Mass on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at the Church of St. Veronica, 4215 Route 9 North, Howell. Interment will follow in St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, 1 Honey Locust Road, Lakewood. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
