Obituary of Jodi Ann Grosso
Jodi Ann Grosso, 62, of Toms River passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 7, 2025 at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Jodi was born and raised in the Bronx. She raised her family in the Rossville section of Staten Island before moving to Jackson Township, NJ. Jodi then moved to Monroe Township before settling in Toms River last year. Along with her husband, they also spent many winter months in Madeira Beach, Florida.
She retired as a paraprofessional, at PS4 in Staten Island, for the New York City Board of Education after 30 years of dedicated service in 2023. Jodi was a woman of faith and was a parishioner of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Toms River and a former parishioner of Our Lady Star of the Sea, Staten Island. She loved spending time on the beach in Point Pleasant. Jodi was a talented baker and truly believed that Christmas Eve was the best day of the year. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and a Nana that would not miss a baseball game or dance recital.
Jodi was predeceased by her parents, Anthony (Jay Jay) and Carole Iacovino. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Louis A. Grosso; sons, Anthony Grosso and his wife, Chelsey, Michael Grosso, and Louis Grosso and his wife, Nicole; five grandchildren, Santino, Lily, Annabelle, Angelo, and Anthony Jay; brother, Paul Iacovino and his wife, Marilyn; two sisters, Geri Ann Ingram and Kim Iacovino; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, December 12, 2025 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 9:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. Joseph's Church, 685 Hooper Avenue, Toms River. Interment will be private.
