Obituary of Migdalia DeJesus
Migdalia “Millie” DeJesus, 64, of Freehold Township passed away on Monday, December 8, 2025, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. She was born in New York and was raised in the Bronx before moving to Freehold in 1993. Millie dedicated 25 years of her life to working at Standard and Poors, and for the past 10 years, she worked as an administrative assistant at Brown Brothers Harriman. She also found joy in helping her son-in-law's company, Classic Fence & Landscape in Manalapan. Her greatest accomplishments were her grandchildren, who affectionately called her Mama. Her children always looked up to her with pride, and she cherished spending time with her daughter, Jessica. Millie always made sure to look her best with her fancy jewelry, nails, and hair, and she enjoyed sharing stories, watching her favorite shows, and sipping on her morning cappuccino.
She was predeceased by her parents, Pedro Tirado and Juanita Rivera; sister, Dorothy Casanova and brother, Cesar “Junito” Tirado. Millie is survived by her husband, Santos DeJesus of Freehold; two children, Jessica Rocha and her husband, John of Howell and Santos David DeJesus; two grandchildren, Joey and Jordana; siblings, Evelyn Rosado, Jimmy Rivera and Carmen Tirado; grand-pup, Kobe and many nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township, on Sunday, December 14, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 10:30 AM Funeral Mass on Monday, December 15, 2025 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 16 McLean Street, Freehold. Interment will follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, 299 Freehold-Englishtown Road, Freehold.
