Obituary of Louis Anthony D'Alessio
Louis A. D'Alessio, 94, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick on December 12, 2025. He was a lifelong resident of Brooklyn, NY before settling in Monroe, NJ for the past 20 years. He worked numerous jobs, namely for a book binding company, a butcher, a lighting manufacturing company and a printing company. Louis was an avid Yankee fan and loved to play cards with friends and family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend and will be greatly missed by all.
Mr. D'Alessio is predeceased by his siblings, Frank, Thomas, Carmine, Joseph, Theresa, Mary and Angie.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, Theresa, two sons, Salvatore D'Alessio and his wife Maria and Peter D'Alessio and his wife Barbara, four grandchildren, Erika Jastrzembski and her husband Pete, Joseph D'Alessio and his wife Crista, Christopher D'Alessio and his wife Stephanie and Samantha Phillips and her husband Logan, two great grandchildren, Scarlett Jastrzembski and Satoru D'Alessio and his beloved care taker Malika Slovinsky.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia (Route 524), Freehold Township on Monday, December 15, 2025 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at the Nativity of Our Lord Church, 185 Applegarth Road, Monroe. For those who cannot attend in person, the Funeral Mass will be livestreamed, HERE. Entombment will follow in Holmdel Cemetery, 900 Holmdel Road, Holmdel.
