My daughter Leanne and I first met Jean at Pat and John’s in Howell. We celebrated many Thanksgiving and Christmas Eves together. Once Jean bought a home in the Toms River area, we spent more time together. Jean loved entertaining in her own home. Jean was so proud of using her Mom's beautiful pieces of furniture. Jean loved song contests and laughed constantly. Yes, Chris joined right in! It was always a party! We even got together to celebrate each others Birthdays at different area restaurants.

The Holidays were Jean’s favorite time of the year. She loved decorating. Jean and Pat spent tons of hours shopping for special things! We will miss Jean and our time together more than anyone will ever know! She was a breath of fresh air! We are so very sad!

I am so very sorry for your loss. Jean was truly a light. What began as a stylist–client relationship grew into a genuine friendship over the years. Every visit with her was filled with laughter—whether we were joking about her perm experience, cutting her hair just a little shorter than planned, or laughing about the funny pants she packed for her cruise and She always came in with those little fruit gummies for Christopher and never minded if I stole one.

Jean will be deeply missed and fondly remembered. Sending my love and heartfelt condolences.

I am so sorry and shocked to hear of Jean’s passing. Jean was a funny lady who never held back if she had something to say. It was my pleasure to work with her at Devereux for many years. Sending prayers to her son Christopher and sister, Patricia. RIP my friend. You will be missed.
