Joseph “Joe” S. Raccuglia, of Freehold passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2025. He was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York before moving to Marlboro and settling in Freehold in 2012. He worked most of his professional life as a computer analyst for a large brokerage firm in the World Trade Center.
Throughout his life, Joe found happiness and fulfillment by challenging himself with solving complex problems, completing home improvement projects, and took pride in his organizational abilities. He embraced life with determination and enthusiasm and was young at heart, fun, funny and fearless until the very end.
He immensely enjoyed spending time with his family and would light up whenever anyone came to visit. He was a loving and loyal husband, father, grandfather and pet lover who will be deeply missed by all.
Joe is predeceased by his parents, Clara and Joseph Raccuglia. He is survived by his wife, Christina, of 60 years; son, Joseph R. Raccuglia and his wife, Coleen; daughter, Carolyn LoBocchiaro and her husband, Thomas; and grandchildren, Laura, Matthew, Andrew, Nicole and Michelle.
Visitation will be held at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township, New Jersey on Monday, December 22, 2025 from 4:00-8:00pm. The Funeral Mass is scheduled for Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at 10:30am at the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold, New Jersey. Funeral services will follow the mass at St. Gabriel’s Cemetery and Chapel Mausoleum, 549 Route 520 Newman Springs Road, Marlboro, New Jersey.
