Obituary of Harry John Adelmann, Jr.

Harry John Adelmann, Jr., 98, of Beachwood passed away on Friday, December 19, 2025 at Harmony Village at CareOne Jackson. He was born and raised in Newark and had lived in Union and Warren before settling in Beachwood in 1984. Harry dedicated 28 years of his life to Manufactures Reserve and Supply, starting as an accountant and working his way up to supervisor. He then went on to work for Reisen-Seidel Hardwood Company for 25 years, retiring as the supervisor of the lumber division. Harry was known for his strong work ethic and dedication to his job. Outside of work, Harry oversaw the construction of two homes for his family in Warren and Beachwood. He was also known for his financial management skills and political savvy. Harry was a devoted father. In his free time, Harry enjoyed being active, traveling, attending the opera, and taking trips to New York. He was extremely handy and always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.

He was predeceased by his granddaughter, Rebecca Shisler. Harry is survived by his three children, Linda Goulden and her husband, Christopher, Jeffrey Adelmann, and Janet Knight; five grandchildren, Jonathan, Elisabeth, David, Garrett, and Ryan; nine great grandchildren, Jaxon, Brenden, Breanna, William, Cayden, Talulla, Georgina, Reuben, and Camille.

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Sunday, December 28, 2025 from 1:00 to 3:30 PM with his funeral service to begin at 3:30 PM.
