Noreen Karczewski, 85 of Freehold passed away on January 3, 2026 at Wedgewood Gardens, Freehold. She was born and raised in Jersey City and had lived in Kearney before settling in Freehold in 2010. Noreen was the owner of Freemans Bakery in Cliffwood Beach, where she poured her heart and soul into creating delicious treats for her community. In her free time, Noreen loved taking trips to Atlantic City, playing cards and Bingo with friends, and indulging in her love for all things Mickey Mouse and Elvis. She was passionate for her Irish heritage. Noreen's greatest accomplishment in life was her family, whom she adored and cherished.

She was predeceased by her husband, Walter Karczewski. Noreen is survived by her two children, Donna Dias of South Amboy and Walter Karczewski and his wife, Anabel of Manalapan: two grandchildren, Ethan and Olivia. 

 A memorial gathering of friends and family will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Thursday, January 8, 2026 from 4:00 to 7:30 PM with her funeral service to follow.
